M Street Beach:
During the summer months M Street beach is the place to be. Located along the stretch of beaches that lead up to Castle Island and just a 10 minute walk from The Mezz ~ just make sure you get there early enough to save yourself a spot!
This enclosed lagoon is a popular beach for families. There is easy access to public restrooms, the Harry McDonough Sailing Center, Sullivan’s and a playground. The perfect place to enjoy the South Boston waterfront with our family!
This is the largest beach in Southie stretching from K Street all the way to the State Police Barracks. This is a beach for everyone from a young group of friends to families. At Carson Beach you can find public restrooms, exhibit space, first aid and lifeguard stations, with outdoor tables and a snack bar called Molly Moo’s. Carson Beach offers a boardwalk that stretches from Castle Island to the Kennedy Library. During the summer ~you can almost always expecta volleyball game to be going on at Carson Beach.
